1. About these terms

These terms govern your purchase and use of digital products from Precise Australia through preciseaustralia.com. By placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not place an order.

2. What we sell

Precise Australia sells downloadable reference documents in PDF format and pre-recorded video files. We do not provide live sessions, coaching, consulting, tutoring, or any service delivered in real time. No purchase includes access to a person.

3. Educational purpose and no professional advice

Our products are general reference material about Australian English usage, formatting conventions, and communication norms. Material touching on advertising, consumer law, therapeutic goods, or disclosure requirements is general information only and is not legal advice. It does not take account of your circumstances, your jurisdiction, or your specific business. You should obtain advice from a qualified Australian legal practitioner before relying on any wording in a commercial or regulated context. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on our material.

4. Your licence

When you buy a product you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use it.

A standard licence covers use by one individual. A team licence covers use by the number of named individuals stated on the product you purchased, being up to 3, 5, 10 or 25 people at a single organisation. Under either licence you may store the files, print them, and apply the material in your own commercial work, including work you are paid for by clients.

You may not resell, sublicense, republish, distribute, share, or upload our files to any public or shared location, including file-sharing services, learning platforms, or datasets used to train machine learning models. You may not remove or alter any notice contained in the files.

5. Intellectual property

All content, including documents, videos, text, layout, and design, remains the property of Precise Australia. Purchasing a product transfers no ownership.

6. Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where GST applies. Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Prices may change at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.

7. Delivery

Products are delivered electronically immediately after successful payment, by download link on the confirmation page and by email to the address you provide. It is your responsibility to give a working email address and to check your spam folder. If you do not receive your files within one hour, contact support@preciseaustralia.com and we will resend them.

Access to purchased files does not expire.

8. Refunds and your consumer rights

Because our products are delivered immediately and in full, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, for a mistaken purchase, or because material turned out to be something you already knew.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies the consumer guarantees that apply under the Australian Consumer Law. Our digital products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. A major failure includes files that do not open, files that are not what we described, or material that is substantially unfit for the purpose we stated.

If you believe a product has failed to meet a consumer guarantee, contact support@preciseaustralia.com with your order email and a description of the problem. We will respond within two business days.

9. Updates to products

We review our material each year and may issue updated versions. Where we update a product you have purchased, we will provide the updated file at no additional cost to the email address used for the original purchase. We do not guarantee any particular update schedule, and we may retire a product at any time. Retiring a product does not affect your access to files you have already downloaded.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the site for maintenance, or change or withdraw any part of it, without notice.

11. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, interfere with its operation, scrape it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may cancel an order and revoke a licence where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 8, our total liability arising from your purchase or use of our products is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, or reputational harm.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Precise Australia submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
